I’m currently building 853 team polo bikes for ‘spring break,’ these bikes will be lighter, stronger, and faster then any other bike on court. I’ve given all three frames a relatively tight wheel bases (which gives the bikes a smaller turning circle), but not to tight as weight distribution is important when designing a frame. If there is not enough weight on the front wheel, the front end will feel ‘loose’ and the rider will not feel confident when turning. These excellent photos were taken for the lfgss book by Juan Trujillo a london based photographer. It was nice to have another bike geek in the shop for a few hours while I started on this project, frame building can be a lonely pursuit at times so a bit of company was a nice change.
